It is not easy being the run leader. I have to make sure everything is in order. The part I dislike is to sit down and write a report to the committee.
This is my first posting after the last posting which was in March. It has been more than a month now since I offered to become the run leader on a Thursday night for Reach Out Malaysia.

That day 23rd March came and went. The day of the proposed CSR for BGF's Counseling Unit has finally arrived.
In Bro Yeam's words, " I'm glad it's been a good learning experience for you with all the ups and downs, as with other projects. I still remember how happy I was for you after you did the presentation in front of the class. Can't believe it has been 2 months and this Saturday's the day. Lets end this with a bang!" Before the end of last year, I proposed a CSR project to my fellow classmates of the 20th BGFCU's Para Counselors Training Course. It was the distribution of food to the homeless with Reach Out Malaysia.
On the 20th January, without any preparation at all, I took the mic and talked to the class in front of the distinguished speaker, Dr Phang Cheng Kar. I managed to get good response from the floor.
When you think everything is someone else's fault, you will suffer a lot - Dalai Lama Monday, 24th November 2012, Metro, The Star - FORTY-THREE vagrants were picked up by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) officers during an ongoing Operasi Bersepadu Gelandangan recently. “Some vagrants had built their own shelters and placed bulk objects at public areas,” he said. “The areas they occupy are filthy and an eyesore for residents and tourists. They also created a lot of discomfort to residents staying around the area,” he said. The shelters built by the vagrants were demolished and bulk objects were disposed of during the operation. 9th February 2012, NST - VAGRANTS, including the ones who had been detained and sent to welfare homes, are causing discomfort among residents and businessmen here. Many of these vagrants are unkempt, smelly, and sleep wherever they want, including pedestrian walkways and corridors. They are tarnishing the town's image, residents claim. Some vagrants have made certain spots their home. They get angry and shout at those who ask them to move away. So, who are these vagrants or homeless?
This is a story about four people, While I was having tea break with 3 of my close friends, my friend asked me,"Wei, you no afraid to post the supports for the Himpunan Hijau 2 - Langkah Lestari (STOP LYNAS)?"
Erm... here's my answers....
From the wall of Tati Ambia: PHOTO: A homeless old man named Max, who lived in a hut somewhere in Pudu, known to feed homeless animals has passed away recently. He had cancer. Here is a photo of him with me and Sam, another volunteer with Reach Out Malaysia NGO taken last year in 2011. Max was known for his generosity. Even though he was homeless and had no money, he would earn some money from massaging taxi and lorry drivers. Instead of buying food for himself, he would buy fish crackers or food for stray cats that lived near him. Good bye Mr Max. You will be remembered for your love for animals and other homeless people around you. ♥ Yesterday was Saturday, I volunteered again with Reach Out Malaysia. This time as the Run Leader for the afternoon run (Run Leader for only this week). There were many customers this time around, some of them are new. This was a familiar sight during the long festive holidays. Some of them stayed on the street because their hostels are closed down for the holidays. The usual street friends are there. One of them even hugged me from behind.. hahahaha.. even my friends don't do that to me. It's a wonderful feeling.
