In my many runs with Reach Out Malaysia, we have come across with many cats and kittens on the street. Since they are being homeless so we fed them as well. It never fails to amaze me that the cats at certain place would wait for us to drop by and when they see us, they would come to us waiting for us to give them food and water. The guy in the blue t-shirt is Sam and the lady is Tati. They are the ones who would take care of the cats when they are out volunteering. The old gentleman is Uncle Max who live in a small makeshift hut near Puduraya. He is living on the street and he is taking care of several cats. We would always stop by to give him the food for him and for the cats. This was taken at the New Year 2012 celebration on 31/12/2011 The guy in white and who is standing beside the kid is called Azizul or Aztoi as he is fondly known. Together with Sam, they would roam the street feeding the cats. You might ask, which are the cats that we have fed.... here they are Besides cats, I have come across other animals...

2 interesting things happened today. One - Reach Out Malaysia has a new van Two - A homeless in the Lost City has adopted a python as her pet. Amin, one of the volunteer purposely drop by to see Pete before going off to KLIA to see his relatives flying home. The homeless told Pete how they were being rounded up by DBKL and were released around 3 pm. Some of the homeless in Bangkok bank started to tell me their stories to me.... hehehe... I enjoyed listened to them. I grew up in Kuala Lumpur.
I saw the rise of some high rise buildings in KL. In my mind, KL is full of well off people. Never cross my mind that there's a lost city within KL itself which house the homeless people of KL. Where is it? Of course it is somewhere in KL, near Central Market. |
AuthorI am still looking for my place in this world. Along the way, I would come across many individuals. Some may need help, some don't. Archives
