In Bro Yeam's words, " I'm glad it's been a good learning experience for you with all the ups and downs, as with other projects. I still remember how happy I was for you after you did the presentation in front of the class. Can't believe it has been 2 months and this Saturday's the day. Lets end this with a bang!"
| Indeed it ended with a bang. 250 people were fed and goodies distributed to them. Although some volunteers pulled out at the last minute, a volunteer fractured his ankle while helping to move the boxes of goodies to the cars and it was raining on that day but what we got at the end of the day was priceless, smiles on the everyone faces. |
Special thanks to Sis Catherine for putting up with me in helping out with the planning and also to Bro Yeam for showering me with huge encouragements. Last but not least, Bro Lim who placed his trust in me to carry out with this project.
I am very happy because I achieved my intentions ie applying what we have learned today and to help the poor, needy and homeless.
Thank you all.
I didn't stop after I finished the CSR. I went out again for the night distribution. The images I saw never fail to disturb me. These are some of the people I saw. There are still to many things yet to be done. | |
