| Dec 15th was a Smiling Day because that day would be full of smiles. To start of, it was young Andrew's birthday. One of his birthday wishes is to celebrate his birthday with Reach Out volunteers which he did. |
The program with St Bernard's Orphanage is called Back To School Program organized by my friend, Mr. Chow from 1Month1Charity The intentions of the Program is to celebrate Christmas with the kids from the orphanage and also to provide them with school bags. This was the first time Andrew and I joined such program. There were a lot of laughter and food to go around. Andrew and I made new friends that day.
You attract people with your thoughts, in this case, my passion in doing charities has led me to meet new friends who share the same passion as mine. In December alone, I have made a few. Through this Back to School Program, I met Wendy and Ong, Jacinta, Tony, CS Leong and CS Seong who are passionate in doing charity works. Wendy, Ong, Jacinta and Leong even went down with Chow and me to Reach Out Food Distribution Afternoon Run. It's not an easy job entertaining the 20 kids, it took up a lot of energy. Still, they took time to down to join Reach Out.
A BIG SALUTE is in hand for them.
As for me, the show is not over yet. That night, I went to the food distribution night run with Mung Sun and his friends. Also joining me were Vincent and Wilson (really appreciated that). My pregnant street friend told me that night she will be leaving to Seremban to stay with her sister awaiting her time to deliver the baby. I was glad to hear that. There were a lot of cats that were fed that night and on hand to feed them were Nai and Rosnah. Both are PASSIONATE cat lovers hehehe
