It is not easy being the run leader. I have to make sure everything is in order. The part I dislike is to sit down and write a report to the committee.
I got to know more about them. Some have began to tell me their stories.
One of them was the time I was nearly pounced by a guy who was highly intoxicated by drugs or he was just drunk. I think he thought I was moving away with the food that's why he was running after me.
The other time was when a homeless friend hugged me so tight until I can hardly breathe.
Another time when I sneaked past the DBKL officers to give warnings to the homeless so they won't be caught by them.
There's also a time when I was being lectured by the security guard and all I did was smiling all the time. It really made them frustrated.
The memories I cherished most are the ones where they gave me the hugs, the smiles, the blessings, their thanks and the moments they open their heart to me.
These are the ones where money can't buy.
